After Uniqueness

After Uniqueness

A History of Film and Video Art in Circulation

Amanda has recently moved to Vancouver and is feeling lonely. When the opportunity to join a group project arises, she refuses, thinking she is better off on her own. On her way home through the forest, she travels back in time to the debates about the union of British Columbia with Canada. The author imagines that British Columbia would have voted "no" and not joined Canada. Amanda tries to fix this "mistake," and learns a little something about how to get along with others. Can she use that lesson when she returns to her own time?
