Second volume of Carlos Valle Romo's work on the 'Hypnagological Method' for accelerative foreign-language learning in adults. Building on the theoretical framework established in Volume I, this volume develops in depth the method itself: its introductory portrayal, a critical analysis of Lozanov's suggestopedic method, the break from classic suggestology, and the integration of linguistic transfer, conscious-unconscious integration of the target language and congruent feedback processes. Drawing on Popperian critical rationalism and cognitive-linguistic theory, the author proposes a structured, total open system for teaching languages to adults more efficiently than traditional grammar-based approaches. The book is intended for language educators, applied linguists and students of second-language acquisition.
